Michelin Unveils Guide to the Super SUV

In a world where everyone craves more, more, more, having an SUV may seem just not good enough these days.

That’s why Michelin have explored the more expensive end of the market, to bring you the best of the Super SUV.

The trade-in from SUV to supercar has always been the traditional route for car enthusiasts but with the supercar market fragmenting, the Super SUV (SSUV) is a trusty alternative.

Owing to its combination of superb handling abilities, resilience and increased power, the super SUV is growing in popularity. We take a look under the bonnet to show you a few examples of what you can get for your money.

With a top speed of 190mph, the Bentley Bentayga is brimming with luxury and comes at a starting price of £130,500. The world’s fastest SUV, the V8 engine should provide plenty of thrills for owners who will see vast improvements to the British manufacturer’s Continental GT.

A starting price of £57,195 makes the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S a more affordable option if you are jumping into the super SUV market. The twin-turbocharged 4.0 V8 engine doesn’t exactly look like an SUV but it’s 0 to 60mph range of 3.7 seconds makes a compelling argument.
