NEW YORK, Nov 29 – Republican Mitt Romney put forth an ardent expression in support of President-elect Donald Trump on Tuesday to attempt to eradicate questions about him among Trump’s supporters and stay in dispute for U.S. secretary of state.
Romney, a savage commentator of Trump amid the Republican presidential essential fight, held back before an inside and out expression of remorse yet his goal to wipe the slate clean was clear.
The previous Massachusetts senator, who was the Republican presidential chosen one in 2012 and lost, applauded Trump for a “message of incorporation and uniting individuals” since his Nov. 8 triumph over Democrat Hillary Clinton.
Taking note of the arrangements Trump has made to fill key bureau positions for his organization and his longing for more prominent solidarity among Americans, Romney said that “those things joined give me expanding trust that President-elect Trump is the very man who can lead us” to a superior future.
Romney made his comments after a protracted supper with Trump and Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus at a French eatery at a Trump inn in Manhattan. They feasted on garlic soup with frog legs, scallops, steak and sheep cleave.
